MPhil or PhD Training at National Universities of Sri Lanka for Research Staff of the National Agriculture Research System, (NARS)
Postgraduate training of the researchers of the National Agricultural Research System, (NARS) is one of the priorities of the Sri Lanka Council for Agricultural Research Policy (SLCARP). In order to grant an opportunity of researchers wish to read their postgraduate degrees in local universities. This programme has been developed by SLCARP to provide an opportunity for training of research staff, (Research Officers or equivalent) of the NARS at MSc (by research) or MPhil or PhD at National Universities. Three scholars have been facilitated to start postgraduates degree programmes with local Universities.

Postgraduate training of the researchers of the NARS is one of the mandatory functions of SLCARP.
Accordingly, SLCARP is offering an opportunity for training research staff of the NARS at MSc (by research) / MPhil / PhD at National Universities.
Applicants are invited from the R&D Department/Institute of the NARS for Long Term training for year 2023/2024.
