An awareness program
An awareness program for the newly recruited Research Officers of the Rubber Research Institute was conducted on February 16, 2024, at the boardroom of SLCARP. The program aimed to introduce the duties and services of the Sri Lankan Council of Agricultural Research Policy (SLCARP). Dr. J. D. H. Wijewardena, the Chairman of SLCARP, and Mr. Prabath Wimal Kumara, Secretary/Director of SLCARP, highlighted the importance of the rubber plantation sector for the economy of Sri Lanka.
